200 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING
This 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training is taught by Robert Boustany and Dorinda Farver. It mainly focusses on personal development and self-enquiry. Robert teaches from a non-linear perspective, based on the principles of Pralaya yoga. Dorinda works with specific topics and guest teachers. When you complete the 200 hour TT, you can flow right into the 500 hour TT (which is the remaining 300 hours to complete your 500 hour certificate) with Robert. 200 and 500 hour certificates can be registred at Yoga Alliance (www.yogaalliance.org).
We provide a flexible system, which allows you to start the training at any given time. You also don't have to be present every planned training day, but you can choose per weekend and even per day when you'd like to join. You also pay per day/weekend by invoice.
Different topics are part of the TEacher Training, as required by Yoga Alliance, such as yoga techniques, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy and teachers methodology. Apart from contact hours, there's also required reading and homework. You can view the reading list here.
You'll find the costs for this training here. Before the training days take place, you can receive an email with about the topics for the upcoming dates. In order to receive that email, you can sign up here. Based on the topics, you can decide which days you'd like to join. Dorinda always has specific topics, Robert works intuitively so without a pre-set schedule.
Participants need to be present a total of 20 days, of which at least 10 days with Robert. There are no other admission requirements. It's also possible to join for single days without working towards a certificate.
When we plan in dates, you'll find them on this page. Here you can also sign in for those dates. Robert visits us about 3 times a year, and always teaches 4 days of 200 hour Teacher Training in a row. Dorinda teaches about 7 weekends a year, always two days back to back.
During lunch, we'll provide a vegan soup. This is included in the price, as well as complementary tea and water during Teacher Training days.
Dorinda teaches mainly in English, and Robert only teaches in English. Guest teachers usually teach in Dutch, but can also do it in English.
